About
Brendan’s work at the Dublin Institute of Technology involves contributing to learning on business, management and society. In particular, Brendan is interested in economics, strategy and the discourses in which we talk and think about them. This research work involves him in a variety of activities including teaching, publishing, research, supervision of research and administering research groups. Specific examples include his teaching of a module on Strategy and Creativity on the Masters in Business Enterprise, his co-chairing of the DIT’s Discourse Analysis Group and his current work as editor and contributor, with co-editors DIT colleagues Drs. John Hogan and Paul Donnelly, on a forthcoming book covering Irish business and society in the 21st century (Oak Tree Press), with contributions coming from academics from DIT, TCD, UCD, DCU, UCC, NUI Maynooth, NUI Galway, UL, QUB, the USA and Australia.
