About

Ann is a member of the Faculty of Tourism and Food in the School of Hospitality Management and Tourism in the Dublin Institute of Technology, Cathal Brugha Street, Dublin 1 where she has lectured for more than 10 years in the areas of hospitality, marketing, tourism and business studies. 

Previous to working with DIT Ann worked in the hospitality and tourism sector in Ireland, and was a trainee manager with the Great Southern Hotel Group.

Ann is currently on a 1 year career break and is based in Madrid, Spain where she is learning spanish and has just started her EdD with the University of Sheffield, UK (part-time).

Ann has a Masters of Philosophy with DIT in the area of Consumer Decision-making and its effects on Tourism Marketing, and also a Master of Arts in Third Level Learning and Teaching with DIT.

Ann's research interests include Higher Education, Hospitality Studies, Tourism Studies, Consumer Behaviour and Marketing and Business Planning and Entrepreneurship.
